コースワークの中で唯一の癒し科目、Applied Economics Analysis.　前半はAnna Aizerが担当。彼女のの授業は、labor, health, crime, political economyといった実証論文を網羅的に紹介していくのだが、取り上げる論文のほとんどがjob market paperでその後top journalに出版され、literature のなかで影響力を持っている論文である。おそらく、良い模範となる論文を読んで、自分のJMPの参考にしてほしいという願いがこめられているのだろう。
