I am a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at Brown University. I am also affiliated with Population Studies & Training Center. I will join the Division of Natural Resource Economics at Kyoto University as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in March 2020.

My research focuses on development microeconomics with applications in agriculture, technology adoption, intrahousehold allocation, poverty alleviation, marriage and political economy.  My primary study area is Zambia.

Prior to beginning my Ph.D. at Brown University, I completed a M.A. degree in Economics from Hitotsubashi University.
